LabelFixer is built on a fundamental principle: your files never leave your device.

How it works technically

When you open a file in LabelFixer, the browser reads it directly from your device's memory. Processing uses standard browser APIs:

• Canvas API for pixel analysis and automatic margin cropping
• pdf.js (Mozilla open source library) for reading PDF files
• jsPDF for generating the output PDF, ready for printing

The entire process happens in memory, in the browser. When done, the generated file is downloaded directly to your device or sent to the printer. No intermediate steps, no servers involved.

What we don't do

• We don't upload your files to any server
• We don't collect personal data
• We don't use profiling or advertising tracking cookies
• We don't share information with third parties
• We don't require registration or an account

Locally stored data

LabelFixer uses the browser's localStorage only to save your theme preference (light/dark) and selected language. This data stays on your device and is never transmitted. You can delete it at any time from your browser settings.

Analytics

This site may use traffic analysis tools to understand how users interact with the service. If so, the data collected is anonymous and aggregated, not traceable to individual users. No data about uploaded files is ever included in analytics.
